Parent Voice

At Pennington C of E Primary School we offer an open door policy. There is daily contact available with the Head Teacher, Mrs Storey and our Pastoral Lead, Mrs Wright who welcome children and families at the gate. Our youngest children are greeted at the classroom door and there is the opportunity for informal dialogue between parents/carers and staff. Tapestry is used in Reception class and Dojo from Year 1 to Year 6 to communicate personal messages and class information between home and school online.

 Our Parent Voice is the opportunity for parents and staff to meet once each term to discuss issues important to parents. The group has a positive approach who are encouraged to share ideas, offer suggestions and suggest solutions.

All parents are welcome to join this group, attendance is not compulsory at every meeting and you will always be warmly welcomed. School values the opinions of the group and it has helped us to improve communication between school and parents.
